Before-Tax Contributions

Your before-tax contributions are deducted from your paycheck on a before-tax basis. This means that you pay no federal income tax and, in most cases, no state or local income taxes until the amounts are distributed to you from the plan.

After-Tax Contributions

Your after-tax contributions are deducted from your paycheck after federal income tax and any state and local income taxes are withheld from your pay. You will not pay taxes on your after-tax contributions when they are distributed from the plan. Earnings on your after-tax contributions are taxed when they are distributed from the plan unless it is a qualified distribution from your Roth 401(k) account. Please see your Plan Administrator for additional information.

Your Contract ID can be found on the bottom left-hand corner of the back cover of your transition newsletter. If you have not yet received a transition newsletter, you can obtain your Contract ID number from your plan administrator.

Your Sub ID is the number following the hyphen after the Contract ID number, and is typically three or four digits in length.

Username requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 7 characters
  • Cannot be all numeric (ex: cannot be a social security number)
  • Cannot be an email address
  • Only the following special characters can be used ! @ # . $ & ? _ - +

Password Tips

  • Must be a minimum of 8 characters
  • Include three of the following:
    • a lower case letter,
    • an upper case letter,
    • a number,
    • a special character
  • Must not match username

Where can I find my Company Name?

Your Company Name can be found on the first page of your "Conversion News Letter." If you have not yet received your "Conversion News Letter," you can obtain your Company Name from your Plan Administrator.
