|
Miscellaneous supplies include the following:

Before-Tax Contributions
Your before-tax contributions are deducted from your paycheck on a before-tax basis. This means that you pay no federal income tax and, in most cases, no state or local income taxes until the amounts are distributed to you from the plan. |
After-Tax Contributions
Your after-tax contributions are deducted from your paycheck after federal income tax and any state and local income taxes are withheld from your pay. You will not pay taxes on your after-tax contributions when they are distributed from the plan. Earnings on your after-tax contributions are taxed when they are distributed from the plan unless it is a qualified distribution from your Roth 401(k) account. Please see your Plan Administrator for additional information. |
Your Contract ID can be found on the bottom left-hand corner of the back cover of your transition newsletter. If you have not yet received a transition newsletter, you can obtain your Contract ID number from your plan administrator. |
